Parish Mission Statement
"We, the people of God at St. Pius X parish, are a community of believers faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Tradition. We seek holiness through prayer, worship and the sacramental life of the Church. Inspired by the fire of the Holy Spirit, we give witness to the Gospel through education, service and sharing of our time, talent and treasure so that God's kingdom may live and grow in our midst."

SonWest Roundup
Saddle up your horses and get on over to SonWest Roundup! Out in the wide-open spaces, we'll discover a colorful old town where all the excitement of the Wild West awaits! Ride with us under the deep blue skies. Feel the breezes rise through the shady purple canyons as we head out through this bright wilderness--we're traveling down the trail through the Old Testament stories of Moses to discover God's ultimate plan of salvation in Jesus, because "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8).
BIBLE CLASSES
This week we'll have a blast as we ride, rope and explore in a Wild West town! In our Bible Classes, we'll follow Moses as God used him to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. Daily stories include: "Born to Save"(Exodus 1:1--2:10), "Promise of Power"(Exodus 3:1--4:31), "Passover Rescue"(Exodus 5:1--12:51) "Perfect Provision"(Exodus 16:1--17:7), and "Law of Love" (Exodus 19:1--20:21; 24:12; 25:10-22).
OPENING & CLOSING SKITS
Everyone gathers to sing songs and watch bible story skits and a week-long adventure skit with connections to the story of the day.
RECREATION
Games and activities that further emphasize the theme and bible story of the day.
MUSIC
Participants learn songs and motions to reinforce the daily message and prepare for the closing program on Friday night.
WORKS OF MERCY
Every day, each participant places a coin worth $1 in one of three charities: Ronald McDonald(Parish); Joseph's Coat(Parish & Local); or Catholic Relief Services.
CRAFTS
Participants use their creative talents to make items that further the theme and bible story of the day.
